NDR: Melbourne Community Consultation

The Muscular Dystrophy Foundation, through funding from the Commonwealth, is developing a digital resource for the neuromuscular community. This will be an integrated, accessible and multi-language support system.

What is the Neuromuscular Digital Resource?
The Neuromuscular Digital Resource will essentially be a ‘one stop shop’ for Australians living with a neuromuscular condition, their families and carers to access the latest in medical research, condition information and support services.

The ultimate outcome is for you to be more connected and informed to make decisions about your own personal needs, through integration with specialist and mainstream services and support networks in your local area.

To our knowledge, this is the first resource of its kind to be built in Australia.

We need your help to make it happen!

In order for the Resource to meet the unique needs of our community, we are asking you to participate in a focus group. The outcomes of these sessions will give a better understanding of what you need and want from the system.

Have you struggled to find information about neuromuscular conditions, support services or research?
What would you like to know more about?
Which kind of service providers or communities would you like to connect with?

This is your opportunity to have your say about the biggest project in the Muscular Dystrophy Foundation’s history.

The more people we have participating, the better the end product, so come along and have your opinion heard.

As a participant, you will receive a $50 gift voucher to compensate you for your time.

If you can’t participate in the focus group, you will also be able to provide feedback via an online survey coming soon. More information is available in the information sheet attached.
