Marketing Consultant
Amy brings her lived disability experience to Muscular Dystrophy Foundation Australia’s communication strategy and content.
Diagnosed with Nemaline Myopathy, a rare neuromuscular condition, Amy had a career change at just 19 years old, choosing to complete a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in marketing and advertising, after completing a Certificate IV in Residential Building Drafting.
In her final semester of university, Amy founded Little Black Dress Digital, a digital marketing company that specialises in social media and website content as well as accessible marketing, a topic that Amy is very passionate about as she strives to make the world more inclusive and accessible, including in the digital space.
Outside of work, Amy continues her disability advocacy via her large Instagram presence with over 20,000 followers. She uses this platform to break down disability stereotypes, particularly those in the fashion industry.
