Career
After training as an Auxiliary NurseJohn spent 12 years doing ward duties after which he then worked in administration, coordinating rosters, nursing staff leave, payroll data and ward statistics.

Interest in supporting the Muscular Dystrophy Foundation
John was diagnosed with muscular dystrophy “of some type” at 14 years old but later was diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA). John has tried never to let his disability stifle the dreams and visions he has had for his life. John is a people person with a desire to help those in need wherever he is able, through whatever avenue is available.
