Career
Victor’s career spanned across a number sectors however his passion for fighting against unfairness and creating better outcomes for the community has run as a common thread throughout. From his early career as a tradesman with Queensland Rail where his peers appointed him shop steward and to his last and most professionally rewarding role, being elected as a councillor with Ipswich City Council and appointed Deputy Mayor from 2004 until 2016.
In addition to a directorship with MDF, Victor is Chairman of Muscular Dystrophy Queensland. He serves on several boards and actively supports local community groups, school and sporting clubs as well as the army of volunteers dedicated to supporting them.

Victor brings to the board his extensive experience in the public sector, in governance, and also his experience of living with a neuromuscular condition, having been diagnosed with Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease at the age of 21.
